Lane Danielzuk, Gering, NE City Administrator has been a member of the Heartland Expressway Association (HEA) since coming to Gering in 2008. He has chaired the Association board since 2012 when Travis Hiner retired as an active board member. His leadership continues to generate support from cities, counties and commercial businesses along the route. His meeting schedule has included moving around the region to accommodate all communities as hosts for the monthly board meetings. His collaboration with entities that have common goals has created additional support for the effort. He has led efforts to meet with other transportation groups in the state and to meet with our state Senators, elected officials and NDOR.

Danielzuk has been City Administrator of Gering since 2008. Lane worked as City Administrator for the City of Sergeant Bluff, IA from 2000 - 2008, the City of Platteville, CO from 1996 - 2000 and the City of Stanton, NE from 1994 – 1996. He was the Mayor of Prescott, WI 1992 through 1994.
Lane received his education in 1983 at the University of New Mexico with a Master’s Degree and the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire in 1979 with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was recognized in 2011 for 20 years of service from the ICMA.
